Raila’s last bullet MISFIRE

Raila Odinga’s inciting remarks are as a result of frustrations . NASA is literally broke and have no sponsors for campaigns. Their Last hope was on the awarding of Ballot paper tender to their South African friends who were in return to support their campaigns financially. Their other hopes were on :-

1.Johnston Muthama who have literally broken ranks with them, he doesn’t even attend their rallies anymore.

2.Royal media services boss SK Macharia who have since mended his differences with Uhuruto.

3.Ali Hassan Joho, his illegal business have been frustrated by the Government and consequently his bank accounts frozen.

4.Evans Kidero, with intense pressure to scrutinize his role on the collapse of Mumias Sugar and the consequent loss of billions, he’s been forced to reveal as little as possible his financial capabilities, thus denying NASA the desperately needed funds.

5 . Failure to register NASA as a political party have led to all elected leaders to boycott remitting their monthly contribution to the NASA entity with only a few loyalists preferring to pay directly to their respective parties and those who lost nominations refusing completely to pay up.

6. With Raila, Kalonzo and Mudavadi out of elected leadership and contributing nothing to the campaign kitty. Wetangula felt cheated of contributing unilaterally and therefore the need to incorporate Isaac Ruto whom in return has refused to be used badly. He no longer attends NASA meetings and have rather decided to go solo.

7.With Kalonzo losing support from Ukambani, the little he could have salvaged from monthly contributions from Leaders is now Gone with focus now shifting towards his differences with bigwigs Musila, Nyenze, Muthama etc,

Evidently in the recently concluded NASA tour of Meru, Only Moses Wetangula accompanied Raila, the rest were conspicuously absent without tangible reasons.

Raila’s much touted last bullet misfired long time ago leaving him very desperate for his political life to an extent that he is ready to cause chaos and disrupt elections come August 8th.

Babu Owino Hires Hoodlums High on Bhang to Heckle DP William Ruto in Tassia

KahawaTungu

Babu Owino is bringing all his negative side to the Embakasi politics. After the death of Mwenje and the exit of Waititu, Embakasi has experienced the non-confrontational politics which seems to be creeping back with the entry of the empty-headed and obnoxious former student leader, Babu Owino.

According to sources in Embakasi East, Babu Owino hired some layabouts common in Tassia estate to target the campaign convoy of the Deputy President, William Ruto, in Embakasi East where they made sure that they heckled the second most powerful man in the country and shared the video with Babu Owino who happily posted them online.

https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fbabu.owino.9%2Fvideos%2F1329514400489010%2F&show_text=0&width=220

The videos have not gone down well with the residents who believe that they are not going to be used as guinea pigs by people who have no agenda for them but are out to further their trade of dealing in illegal and fraudulent schemes as well as luring young men and women into drugs, prostitution and fake dollar scams.

Interior CS has promised to take action against goons out to attack politicians campaigning for election.

Babu Owino’s recent clearance by ODM has also brought into question the principles and ideals which ODM as a party and Raila as the party leader stands for as it is Babu Owino who has brought in the bad leadership in UoN student leadership as well as using drugs, violence and intimidation on opponents.

Most of the mature adult residents of Embakasi East would not want to hear anything about Babu Owino as he is a bad influence to their children.

“Grow up,” Jubilee tells Raila over ballot tender issue

The Standard

The opposition coalition NASA led by Raila Odinga’s calls for the resignation of the IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba and the election operations director Immaculate Kasait have given the country a new twist on the political space and would bury alive attempts to reignite the ICC narrative.

The opposition demands have not gone well with Jubilee Party’s campaign top brass with secretary general Raphael Tuju faulting the opposition for linking the party to the tender awarding process that saw a Dubai firm Al Ghurair earn the chance to print ballot materials for the elections.

While in an interview on a local televisions station, Tuju asked NASA presidential candidate, Raila Odinga to ”grow up”, citing the claims which he termed as baseless and accused the leaders of seeking to polarize the country.

The opposition claim that President Uhuru in collusion with technical staff at the electoral body influenced the tender awarding process to Dubai-based Al Ghurair Print and Publishing Company Limited.

“We have established that the CEO of this firm Mr. Aziz Al Ghurair is an intimate friend of the Kenyatta family and a frequent guest at the home of Mr. Muhoho Kenyatta. In fact, Mr. Muhoho is the local contact for Al Ghurair and possibly a shareholder in the firm. Information in our possession indicates that the Chief Executive Officer of the IEBC Mr. Ezra Chiloba and director of Election Operations and Voter Registration Immaculate Kasait were the contacts for State House in the decision to award to the tender unprocedurally and illegally to Al Ghurair,” said Musalia Mudavadi on Wednesday.

Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr during the interview asked Tuju to respect Mr Odinga and termed the ‘grow up’ remarks as completely demeaning.

Tuju’s comments were faced by harsh criticism from the senator and political analyst Barrack Muluka who said the sentiments were obnoxious.

He asked Nasa presidential candidate, Raila Odinga to ”grow up”, citing the claims, sentiments that received harsh criticism from Makueni senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr and analyst Barack Muluka.

Both IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba and the operations director Immaculate Kasait have dismissed the claims by the opposition saying IEBC was not acting on behalf of Statehouse while awarding the tender.

The opposition has also linked the President’s family members to the firm but IEBC has maintained that they will fly representatives of presidential candidates, religious leaders, the media and the private sector to accompany them so as to witness the printing of the ballot papers.

NASA has fears that the company could be used to print extra ballots that would help Jubilee rig insisting that the tender must be cancelled and awarded to another firm.

Bloodcurdling remarks

Just watched the media coverage of the Raila defence of his outrageous hate remarks. To say that I’m disappointed is an understatement.
Raila shamelessly picks the good part of his reckless remarks…. “Warning people against selling land”. That’s right. Any sane leader would warn against selling land.
But Raila conveniently forgets the part he says ” Wana vamia, vamia mashamba.” And ” Kwani huko kwao hakuna mashamba?” ” Si warudi kwao!!!”
These last parts were the offensive, dangerous, risky, and bloodcurdling remarks. All clashes since the Rift Valley clashes in 1991, the Likoni clashes in 1997 and post election 2008 clashes were sparked by reckless politicians who brought a rift between locals and non local legal land buyers.
Why didn’t the media ask Raila to explain his “warudi kwao” remarks? Why only let him off with the ” Musi uze mashamba” part?
Problem is this:::: media may hide the offensive remarks…. But the Maasai in Kajiado got the message. They do not watch TV, but already know that Tarehe Nane, ukombozi means getting their land back.
This is how the media contributes to violence. By openly siding with reckless remarks.
Raila has to be forced by NCIC to go back to Kajiado to clear the air. Kitengela Kiserian, Ngong, Matasia, Athi River and other similar residents, and investors need that.

World of 2 ‘leaders’

It was Sunday. Uhuru was in Church praying for peace and stability during this election period.
Josua, on the other hand, avoided Church like a plague, and instead went to Uchumi Supermarket to take advantage of the regional maize shortage that has affected Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi and Uganda.
Instead of preaching peace, Joshua goes to a press conference with a totally outrageous claim that Jubilee is withholding maize in order to release during election day.
One wants peace, and the other wants anarchy.

WARMONGER ‘Raila’

Raila has surveyed and realized that he stands no chance of creating mayhem and bloodshed if he were to rely on his current base. During the IEBC Demos, not even a single glass was shattered in Machakos, Bungoma, Kakamega or Kilifi. It was only in Kisumu, Siaya and Homa Bay that property was destroyed.
Having realized that his plan to have bloodshed may not work, he has decided to look for hotspots that can easily be ignited.
That is why in just one week he visited the volatile Maasai Land Issue in Laikipia and Kajiado.
He knows very well that if you go to Kitengela, Ngong and by extension Athi River and ask ” Kwani wana wavamia……hawana Mashamba kwao?” You would be triggering a major ethnic conflict war of monumental proportion. He knows that some Maasais believe that their parents sold off their land, to outsiders and if you promise those young bitter warriors that tarehe nane ni siku ya ukombozi, you are passing a dangerous message that will have bloodshed as consequence.
When some of us say that this man is dangerous, some guys think that we are alarmists.

From my heart to Fathers

Kimeto Lilian
The sun is coming down on the Sunday, the 18th June 2017. A day that saw the celebration of Father’s Day. It’s a day on which we’re asked to get in touch with the gratitude we should feel towards our own fathers. For some of us this is easy, either we had fathers and, the ones we had are(or were )good ,or we are good fathers; but for many, it’s difficult.
How do I celebrate Fathers’ Day when I don’t have one or even know who that is? How do I feel gratitude if my father is mostly absent or abusive? How do I celebrate this day when my Father is already in heaven?
Sadly, because of those questions, many of us have gone through this day or will go through life struggling about the issues in our lives that define the concept Father.
We celebrate fathers who have done their best. Please keep on at it. Your reward shall come in this life and in heaven, too.
Allow me then to encourage the following types of fathers:
1. Those whose children (and probably wives too) are eagerly awaiting their early departure from earth so that they can inherit property.
2. Those who built beautiful homes for their families but sadly it is cockroaches and geckos who are enjoying the comfort of those homes as their wives have turned them into huge garbage bins. Well, just DIY and clear your house. You won’t die doing it.
3. Those struggling to find a healthy balance between freedom and discipline in their lives. They are forever vacillating between being too hard on themselves or too easy on themselves. Please be yourself, forgive yourself and give yourself a fresh start. It’s not too late to be the good father your children deserve.
4. Those who feel let down by their choice of mother of their children. What they saw is not what they got now. You expected respect, they talk you down, you expected a friend but she’s a tigress. Well, just become a philosopher. Don’t add another wife. We women are just the same and you won’t be solving but adding to your challenges.
5. The absent or abusive fathers. Well, maybe you are going through life always unconsciously seeking something that has been withheld from you. Maybe it was your father’s approval and that left you inhibited, often angry and hungering for a father. Please forgive, forget what your own father never did or gave you. Don’t visit that to your children. Affirm your children and change the narrative of your lineage.
6. The father who is the epitome of disorder. He could be seated on a Sina Tabu now, has not paid school fees, and is eating Nyama Choma while the children will have Ugali with cabbage soup. Please go on your knees now and ask God for help. He will answer you and you could just spring back to life and become the archetypal father who is meant to order, carry, feed, and bless his family.
7. The father that is forever being carried by his children and their mother. A good father does not make his own problems and concerns, his own tiredness and heartaches, the center of family’s attention. Rather he relates beyond his own tiredness and heartaches so as to make the focus of attention the heartaches and headaches of his family. Father it is you alone to work on finding meaning, satisfaction, and happiness in your own life.
8. The father let down by what became of his children. Maybe he wanted them to pursue a STEM career path but he has ended up a DJ and it’s not easy affirming and admiring such a child leave alone proud of their talents and achievements. Well, settle that in your heart and just do your bit as a father by giving them the support they need from you
9. The father with a constriction of the heart. For this simple reason. He is not sure whether the children who call him father are his own. He observes and has concluded, even without DNA, that the heads of his children are trapezium shaped (like his neighbours), whereas his own head is oval. Yet he is struggling to feed and clothe them.
10. The Father of a child with special needs. Nobody knows what you go through and why you are self-absorbed or just disengaged. May God give you His grace but never give up on your offspring. Be their best dad ever and give them the best in life
In conclusion, fatherhood isn’t as pretty as it’s presented on sitcoms, or as amicable as told in eulogies. Fatherhood is a responsibility, probably equal to a death sentence. But it’s doable.
