NASA rallies in Coast have been canceled; it can now authoritatively be revealed. All is not well in NASA boardroom as silent revolt by Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and his Kilifi counterpart Amason Kingi takes its toll on Raila’s presidential campaigns in the region.
Inside sources confide that Joho and Kingi have refused to open their purses to finance planned rallies that were scheduled to take place from this Sunday 8th, as they feel pushed to the periphery of NASA by Raila Odinga following his failure to award any nomination to the region, despite the overwhelming support the party received in the August, 8th election.
The two Coast ODM Governors have suddenly developed cold feet and are no longer active in NASA presidential campaigns for the repeat fresh poll. Sources privy to the goings on indicate that they’re preparing a shocking political realignment targeting the 2022 general elections. Reports doing rounds also say that Hassan Joho is even contemplating to resign from his position as ODM Deputy Party Leader.
This development is aggravated by the current defection of former NASA affiliate party aspirants to Jubilee, led by former Wiper Secretary General Hassan Omar. The aspirants are crying foul over manifest mistreatment by ODM in the amorphous alliance.
Coast is unprecedentedly shifting allegiance and as we approach the date of the repeat poll, Raila’s predicament is certainly sealed. He is losing one of his most crucial strongholds, Coast.
